Lorentz Lyceum & Arnhem International School spelen 'Hamlet 2'
ENGLISH SPOKEN
Students of the Lorentz Lyceum and Arnhem International School have worked every Tuesday afternoon towards a presentation of a zany version of Hamlet.
The story in a nutshell: Hamlet's father the king, soon to be the ghost, is killed and Hamlet wants to know who did it. He thinks it was the now King Claudius, Hamlet's Uncle. But he needs to prove this. With the help of his buddies Rosencrantz and Guildenstern he puts on a play to make the King confess his guilt. It is a funny parody with a 90's touch: Laertes is played a gay wanna-be hairdresser. And of course the description of Heaven: "They serve hamburgers and it has golden arches."
